Mahama is incorruptible; Airbus matter will turn fiasco – Sammy Gyamfi claims

Mahama is incorruptible: Former President John Mahama has been described as an incorruptible man and that any attempt by the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) to throw mud at him will fall flat in the face.

Reacting to the Airbus saga on Accra-based Joy Fm monitored by MyNewsGh.com, the National Communications Officer, Sammy Gyamfi said “it’s a desperate attempt by this sinking Akufo-Addo government to smear an innocent man, an incorruptible man President Mahama at all course with this frivolous allegations”.

He emphasized that “this Airbus matter will turn out as a fiasco just as all other several frivolous corruption allegations the NPP leveled against President Mahama in 2016.”

On the Airbus saga, he said “a red notice is not issued for wanted people, it is issued to fugitives. I have been a subject of an arrest warrant before they leveled frivolous after crime allegations against me.”

According to Mr. Gyamfi, the standard practice is that all red notices issued by Interpol can be found on their website, but this said arrest warrant can’t be found there.

“It’s fabricated, it’s of dubious validity and we should not feed the people of this country with ill”, he emphasised.

“It’s a contrived document, its fabricated one. That should tell you it’s desperation by this government to smear innocent people with corruption.”
