My dad employed me as security personnel first at Kencity Media before I was promoted to the manager position – Kennedy Agyapong’s Son reveals

My dad employed me as security personnel: Ghanaians know Honorable Kennedy Agyapong as a ‘no nonsense man’  when it comes to dealing with people’s negative behavior in Ghana. He is more concerned about the welfare of the vulnerable in society.

But little did we know about how Honorable pampers his children.

In an interview on the Dentaa Show, Kenneth Takyi Agyapong, son of Kennedy Agyapong told a story on how his father allowed him to go through all the employment processes as everyone does without any favor to him as his biological child.

Kenneth said “When I came to Ghana from the States to work with my father’s company (Kencity Media), he employed me as security personnel, I then moved to customer service before getting the manager role. I have experienced every job in the company except the cleaning job. All my siblings that come for summer break go  through the same process, My dad wants us to feel the reality of working as an employee for someone”

He added that he used to board ‘trotro’ and even walk from home to a bus station at Tema to board public transport.

Looking at how rich Kenndy Agyapong and allowing his son to go through this toughness of life, it confirms that he really wants his kids to be their own bosses and not rest on his riches.
