VIDEO: Obuasi Sec Tech Students have made an electronic water dispenser to help in fighting Coronavirus

Robotic Club Students of Obuasi Sec Tech have made electronic water dispensing bucket to help in fighting Coronavirus

A video circulating on social media shows an electronic bucket made by the Robotic Club students of Obuasi Secondary Technical School in the Ashanti Region.

The bucket fitted with a pump and dispensing tap automatically pumps out water when you place your hands under the tap without touching anything and stops the water flow once you take off your hands.

According to one of the students who did the demonstration in the video, the electronic dispensing bucket was designed with the aim of helping in the eradication of the deadly pandemic Coronavirus.

The design was focused on ensuring that people don’t recontaminate their hands after using a water tap.

It is our hope that the government and all the concerned agencies will see this marvelous work and pay the needed attention so we can all benefit from it especially in this tumultuous moment. If this work is taken seriously by the government, more of these can be produced for students and our rural folks so we can all help in fighting the Coronavirus.

We say bravo to the Robotic Club Students of Obuasi Secondary Technical School and all the teachers who coached and supervised them.
