VGMA20: Kaakie attacks Shatta Wale for causing confusion on stage

Female Ghanaian dancehall artiste Grace Kaki Awo Ocansey popularly known as Kakie has fired Shatta Wale for causing commotion on stage when Stonebwoy received his award for Reggae Dancehall Artist of the year.

Kakie described the ‘My Level’ hitmaker as a ‘jerk’ and advised him to work hard to earn that title if he feels he deserves it.

Kaakie also recalled how Shatta Wale nearly attacked her on stage in 2012 when she has crowned the Dancehall Artiste of the year.

“In 2012, same award category, Shatta this is what you did to me. You almost attacked me but for God, I don’t know what would have happened to me. What is the meaning of that? If you think you deserve that award category, you work at it and earn it. You don’t come throwing tantrums like a baby. Are you a baby? Stonebwoy has won it and if he has won it for the fifth time, hell yeah! work your ass out. You are a jerk”, she fired.

Well, Shatta Wale has repeated this same action at the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards when Stonebwoy won that title for the fifth time.

As Stonebwoy walked on stage to receive his award, Shatta Wale followed him for reasons best known to himself but the fans were infuriated by his move and stormed the stage.

Stonebwoy pulled out a gun on stage but was calmed down by his fans. He later apologised to doing that and explained that he brought the gun on stage to protect himself since he has been receiving threatening messages prior to the event.
