Vice President Dr. Bawumia Takes ill; Rushed To The Hospital

Vice President Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has reportedly fallen ill and undergoing medical tests and observation.

A statement from the Presidency signed and posted on the Facebook Timeline of the Director of Communications at the Presidency, Eugene Arhin said: “the Vice President of the Republic, Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, in the early hours of Friday, 19th January 2018, reported feeling unwell.”

According to the statement, doctors have attended to him and are still monitoring his recovery process.

The statement did not state the cause of the sudden illness but said further information about his health status will be communicated in due course.
