Government should be commended for Covid-19 fight: Actress and producer Juliet Ibrahim says the Akuffo-Addo led government ought to be commended for the way and manner it is fighting against Covid-19 in Ghana.
The actress believes the government has been proactive since the first case of Covid-19 was recorded in the country thus reducing the possible rapid spread of the coronavirus.
Juliet is currently stuck in Lagos, Nigeria as a result of the closure of the Ghana border due to COVID-19, she was speaking with Miriam of 3fm 92.7/TV3 “On the record with Miriam”, a live chat session on Instagram.
Answering questions on the impact of Covid-19 on the movie industry, the actress says intimacy with the crew will be greatly affected on movie sets.
She, however, advised movie and content producers to harness the opportunities that digital platforms present under the current circumstances. Juliet also hinted that she is working on documenting her Covid-19 experience into a movie that will be released soon.
Meanwhile, Dancehall King Charles Nii Armah popularly known in the music industry as Shatta Wale has also showcased his full gratitude to the President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo for his kindness to Ghanaians during the COVI-19 fight. Shatta Wale was short of words in expressing the kindness of Nana Addo to Ghanaians.
