Outrageous KNUST SRC budget causes confusion online
Outrageous KNUST SRC budget: The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology’s Students Representative Council (SRC) is under backlash after they released their budget statement to be spent within two months.
The KNUST SRC is expecting a whopping amount of GHS996,250 for the 2020/2021 first semester which has caused an uproar on social media.
Certain items on the list that raised eyebrows are ‘Off-campus security’, ‘covid-19 package for students’, ‘src website’ among others.

In response to the outcry on social media, the President of the SRC in KNUST Samuel Sesah quoted a verse from the Holy Bible, Hebrews 13:17 to defend himself.
