President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s convoy was reportedly involved in a fatal accident at Bunso Junction in the Eastern Region.
According to reports, a KIA Rhino truck crossed paths with the convoy, leading to a collision that resulted in one fatality and left several others injured.
Asaase Radio confirms that President Akufo-Addo, who had attended the funeral of former Deputy Finance Minister John Kumah in Kumasi, was not present in the convoy at the time of the accident. The president is currently in Accra.
This incident is not the first time that a sitting president’s convoy has been involved in an accident.
