32-year old man gains admission to Adisadel College after five B.E.C.E attempts
Some people are determined to follow their passion and with that zeal and spirit, nothing can stop them. A 32-year-old man by the name Richard Oponin Marfo after failing and re-sitting for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (B.E.C.E) for five(5) consecutive times has finally passed and has gained admission to his dream school, Adisadel College.
According to Richard, Adisadel College was the only school he wanted to have his high school education and so throughout his days in JHS, he has been studying hard to gain grades. But upon several attempts of the B.E.C.E, which is the final examination required to go to senior high school, he has been unable to get the grades that could gain him admission to Adisadel.
He nearly gave up as age was catching up on him and his colleagues were teasing him on several occasions whenever he makes his mind to for the resit. But Richard never gave up.
On the fifth attempt, he passed with flying colors, and through the Computer placement, he has successfully gained admission to his dream school.
We wish Richard the best of luck as he begins his higher learning journey. He is an inspiration to all of us.
