Gov’t Pays The Registration Fees For 2018 BECE candidates

[dropcap][/dropcap]Government of Ghana will absorb the registration fees of public Junior High School candidates for the 2018 Basic Education Certificate Examination, BECE.

According to a statement released by the West Africa Examination Council, WAEC, registration begins from November 13 for candidates across the country for the 2018 Basic Education Certificate Examination, BECE.

The statement directed to all Directors of Education at the metropolitan, district and municipal levels, the registration will end on the 15th of December 2017.

Re-sitters are to register as private candidates and candidates from the private Junior High Schools will pay 75.00 Ghana Cedis but government will absorb the fees of candidates from the public Junior High Schools.

The statement further asked the directors to provide the Council with the list of private and public schools for the Council to be able to validate inputs by the schools.
