Lighthouse Chapel International is a Charismatic church that was founded by Bishop Dag Heward-Mills in Ghana, West Africa in 1985 under the name Korle-Bu Christian Centre; it was changed to the current name in 1987.
Their mission is: to build 25,000 churches, to have Churches in 150 countries, to fight fiercely and relentlessly in all battles for the advancement of the churches and the Gospel, to produce radical Christians who work for God, to go to heaven and to hear Jesus say – “Well done, good and faithful servant”.

Its headquarters, the Qodesh, is located in Accra, Ghana. Bishop Heward-Mills is also a renowned evangelist who has taken the gospel to many remote locations in Africa through his Healing Jesus Campaign.
He is also the author of 30 books, including the bestseller Loyalty and Disloyalty; there are currently 6 million books in print in 8 languages.
The church has a humanitarian charity, Help the Helpless, which seeks to help the blind, prisoners, the poor, the sick, and widows.
It also has an orphanage, The Lighthouse Christian Home, and a primary school, The Lighthouse Christian Mission School, both of which are under the management of his wife, Lady Rev. Adelaide Heward-Mills.
The church also has Anagkazo Bible School, which trains people for the ministry. Lighthouse Chapel International has over 1200 branches in 61 countries worldwide. It is fast becoming one of the biggest denominations in the world.

2. Action Chapel International (ACI)
Action Chapel International (ACI) is a Charismatic Christian church based in Accra, Ghana. The church was founded by Nicholas Duncan-Williams in 1979, and since 1992 has met in the “Prayer Cathedral” near Accra airport.
It is the headquarters of Christian Action Faith Ministries (CAFM). Nicholas Duncan-Williams, a disciple of Benson Idahosa, founded the Christian Action Faith Ministries (CAFM) and the Action Chapel International (ACI) church in 1979.

The CAFM was the first Charismatic church in Ghana. It was followed by the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) in 1984.
As of 2015 Duncan Williams was still head of Action Chapel International and was also chairman of the National Association of Charismatic and Christian Churches (NACCC). ACI owns the Dominion University College, secular and biblical modern university in Accra.
3. International Central Gospel Church (ICGC)
International Central Gospel Church headed by Dr. Mensa Otabil, a motivational preacher and forthright man of God is the second oldest Charismatic Church in Ghana behind Action Chapel International.
The International Central Gospel Church – ICGC is an Evangelical, Charismatic Christian Church. It was officially inaugurated as a church on the 26th of February 1984, in Accra, Ghana. The first meeting was held in a small classroom with an initial membership of just about twenty people.

From February 1984 to April 1986, the membership grew to about one hundred and eighty (180) adults in regular attendance. The early meetings of the church were held in several facilities which included classrooms, a private residence, a public hall, a science laboratory, a mechanical workshop and a cinema theatre.
In May 1986, the church settled in a rented scout hall – the Baden Powell Memorial Hall – which became its home for the next ten years.
During this ten-year period, the membership rose to over 4,000. This period also saw aggressive missionary church planting activities with local assemblies established in almost all the major towns and cities of Ghana. Several other churches were also planted in cities in Europe and the United States.
The first congregation which was established in February 1984, now designated as the Christ Temple Assembly, has directly planted over forty other churches out of the original congregation in the Accra – Tema metropolis of Ghana alone.
In 1988, the ICGC established a ministerial institute to train a new generation of leaders to carry out its vision. From the initial six-month certificate in ministry, the college has developed into the premier private-owned University in Ghana known as the Central University College.
Again in 1988, the church instituted an educational scholarship scheme, known as Central Aid, to finance the education of selected needy students in pre-tertiary educational institutions. This scheme is now considered the largest non-governmental scholarship programme for students in pre-tertiary education in Ghana.
The International Central Gospel Church is a socially conscious Christian church which upholds the philosophy of Human dignity and Excellence. It engages in promoting and staging events whose impact have reached the depths of the Ghanaian society and brought Christ to the doorsteps of the people.
4. Perez Chapel International
Perez Chapel International is an evangelical, Pentecostal Charismatic Christian church. It was founded by bishop Charles Agyin-Asare and is headquartered in Dzorwulu, Accra, Ghana.
The church was founded under the name of Word Miracle Church International by Charles Agyin-Asare in 1987 in Tamale.

In 1994, the headquarters were transferred to Accra and a new church was established with 70 people. In 2011, it inaugurated the Perez Dome, a 14,000-seat temple. In 2013, the Perez Dome had 7,000 members and the denomination had 50,000 members in Accra.
It took the name of Perez Chapel International in 2013. In 2017, it claimed to have 400 churches in 16 countries.
The Church runs the Perez University College is a co-ed Christian University located in Gomoa Pomadze in the Central region of Ghana. It was formerly known as the Pan African Christian University College. It was the first private university to be established in the Central region.
5. Royalhouse Chapel International
Royalhouse Chapel International was founded by the Most Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah after his encounter with the Lord on June 19th, 1991.
Before his encounter and subsequent arrival in Ghana in November 1992, he had given approval to his wife, Rev. Mrs. Rita Korankye Ankrah (affectionately called Mama Rita) to start Sunday services with members of Showers of Blessings who were then available.

The meetings began at the GES Model Nursery School in Accra at North Ridge with 12 adults and 5 children attending the first Sunday service.
The name under which they operated from March 1991 was Abundant Life Missions International. But in July 1993, the name of the church was changed to Bible Worship Centre to reflect the new vision and focus with which Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah was going to operate.
To give the church a global focus, the name was modified in August 1994 to International Bible Worship Centre (IBWC). Royalhouse Chapel International (RCI) was approved and from March 1999 to date, it has been the operational name of the Church.
