Midland Savings and Loans Limited has finally handed over a two bedroom house to Patience Osafo who was brutalized by a policeman at the banking hall of the financial institution.
The two bedroom house has finally been handed over to Patience Osafo the woman who was assaulted by a police personnel at the banking hall of Midland Savings and Loans.
She was flanked by her family and friends in taking the house as a compensation from the savings and loans company.
They were with officers of Midland and they are seen inspecting the rooms in the house.
At a point, she was captured smiling briefly to herself, as if to say she is relieved of the pain and embarrassment she felt in the hands of the police officer.
HOW SHE WAS BRUTALISED BY THE POLICEMAN
She had gone to the financial institution to withdraw her GHC270 ‘susu’ she had saved with them.
Midland was said to be facing financial challenges and faced a possible liquidation, there she went there to withdraw all her savings.
However, she was not served after many days of going to the banking hall.
On the fateful day of Friday, July 20, 2018, she refused to leave the banking hall after she went there early in the morning.
