Nana Addo together with his wife and children in self-isolation: One of Nana Addo’s daughters has shared a family selfie as they observe the 14-day isolation at the Presidential Villa after President Nana Addo was advised by his doctor on June 4, 2020, to self-isolate for 14 days.
A press release shared by the information ministry yesterday confirmed that the president has had contact with some people who have tested positive for the COVID-19 at the Jubilee House, so his personal doctor has advised him to self-isolate together with his family for 14 days.
This announcement has created a huge public debate on social media and even in the traditional media with some claiming that the President has tested positive for the virus and that he has been air-lifted to the United Kingdom for treatment. Sharing of this photo obviously debunks the various claims that the president is unwell from the Coronavirus. In the selfie, the president is seen seated happily and beaming with smiles with his family including the first lady, Rebecca Akufo-Addo, and two of their children.
The President is seen sitting about a meter away from the first lady and his two children, Edwina Akufo-Addo and Funmi Akufo-Addo.
