Cybermetrics Lab is a (Spanish National Research Council) which conducts independent, objective, free, open scientific research exercise every six months on global public and private universities.
The main goal of this research is to provide reliable, multidimensional, updated and useful information about the performance of universities from all over the world based on their web presence and academic impact.
They have released the ranking for the first six(6) months of the year 2019 and we have listed the ranking for the Universities in Ghana below. The University of Ghana tops the list at number 1 with 1, 209 world rank. It also tops in all other metrics such as institutional presence, Impact, Openness and Academic Excellence.
Also, among the private Universities, Ashesi University tops all and was ranked country-wise at #6 far ahead of Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration, GIMPA, which ranks at #9.
