Ursula Owusu And Other Two Appointees Being Probed By CID For The Alleged Corrupt acts

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service has reportedly started investigating three government officials after receiving evidence of corruption from Kennedy Agyapong.

The CID’s department earlier this week invited Hon. Kennedy Agyapong and musician, Kwame A-Plus to justify their corruption allegations leveled against some appointees of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo who work at the Golden Jubilee House.

The appointees under investigation are Minister of Communications, Mrs Ursula Owusu Ekuful, and the two Deputy Chief of Staff at the Presidency, Mr. Francis Asenso-Boakye and Mr. Samuel Abu Jinapor.

The Member of Parliament for Assin Central had accuse Mrs. Ursula Owusu Ekuful of having used her position to engage in various corrupt acts.

He stated that Mr. Owusu Ekuful had disregarded his bid for a contract to print NIA cards in favour of more expensive bidders. Also, musician, A Plus had also accused the two “stupid” deputy Chief of Staffs, Mr. Francis Asenso-Boakye and Mr. Samuel Abu Jinapor of having misused their office for selfish gains.

A-Plus, however, made a u-turn and apologized for the comments he made on Facebook, which he has since deleted.
