WAEC Releases 2020 Private BECE Results: The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has released the provisional results of private candidates who took the 2020 edition of the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).

The West African Examinations Council wishes to inform its numerous publics that it has released provisional results of candidates who took the 2020 edition of the Basic Education Certificate Examination for Private Candidates. The Council has hosted the results online and candidates may access their results at the Council’s website at eresults.waecgh.org.

 

STATISTICS

A total of 2,240 candidates made up of 1,258 males and 982 females entered for the BECE Private Examination which was written at 11 centers throughout the country.

Out of the total number of candidates that registered, 2,110 sat for the examination, while 130 candidates were absent.

 

EXAMINATION MALPRACTICES

Five (5) subject results have been withheld, pending the conclusion of investigations into alleged examination malpractices.

The withheld results will be released as soon as the Council concludes its investigations.

Candidates may purchase the WAEC results checker scratch card for BECE (Private) and access their results online at https://eresults.waecgh.org/

  • Visit https://eresults.waecgh.org/ on your computer or mobile device to open the eResults checker form.
  • Fill in your index number and confirm it
  • Select the Exam Type (in this case ‘BECE (private)’)
  • Select the exam year
  • Enter the scratch card’s serial number
  • Enter the PIN at the back of the scratch card
