Conan O’Brien was in Ghana earlier this year in June.
The American television host, comedian, writer, and producer, best known for hosting several late-night talk shows, honoured an invitation from the Ghanaian Ambassador to the USA, Barfuor Adjei-Barwuah.
Kuulpeeps closely watched him (on Instagram of course) have fun and mingle with the people in a way that was very different and exciting to watch. He came with a different vibe and we enjoyed seeing what he was up to cos it was obvious the comedian was having the time of his life discovering Ghana and our culture!!!
In between touring the Makola market, learning a new trade with coconuts and vibing with the people on the streets, Conan had time to make some music with one of GH’s finest, Kuami Eugene.

The two made a song that is definitely a banger and energy… we love it!!!
The video of the song, titled For Love, reeks of the Ghanaian urban culture: the African Print styles, the dance moves and the production on the song. Conan’s single line (laugh and be happy we do this for love) which he repeatedly says or should we say sings… is a catchy addition to the song and the highlight of the whole song.
His cool calm almost gangster demeanor throughout the video made us think he will throw in a couple of verses..maybe rap a little but the autotuned version of his line gave us life lmao!
Mans was great with the moves too. Not perfect but listen, it was a joy seeing him gyrate to the music!!
Can we talk about the dancers because their energy was awesome!

Seeing DJ Switch, the recent winner of the Best DJ award at the just ended Ghana DJ Awards was a joy! Y’all know that girl has the energy of a thousand men!
Kuami Eugene’s suavity, Mickie Flex and the other dancers’ moves, DJ Switch’s energy, and Conan O’Brien’s touch made the video extremely fun to watch.
