More drama over Mahama’s chieftaincy title as Bolewura’s brother speaks
Mahama’s chieftaincy title: There continues to be an unending drama over the chieftaincy titled purportedly conferred on former President John Dramani Mahama during his recent visit to Bole in the Savannah Region.
Former President John Dramani Mahama was last week reportedly enskinned as ‘Chief of Truth’ when he visited his hometown to register in the just ended voters’ registration exercise.
But Mr. Alex Abudulai who is a direct brother of Bolewura Sarfo Kutuge Feso (I) has said that his brother never enskinned the former President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama “Chief of Truth”.
Former President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama in a post on his social media platforms had said he was enskinned Chief of Truth by the Bole Wura, the Chief of his hometown, Bole.

However, there were two contradictory statements released from the office of the Bole Wura one suggesting that the Bole Wura never enskinned the former President while the other insisted that the former President was enskinned “Chief of Truth”.
But speaking on Accra-based Adom FM Monday monitored by MyNewsGh.com, Mr. Alex insists claims that John Dramani Mahama was enskinned with the authority of the Paramount Chief is untrue.
According to him, the Chief has been out of the Bole Traditional Area for some time now and is currently in Tamale and therefore could not have enskinned John Dramani Mahama.
When he was quizzed on whether the Chief gave his elders the authority to enskin the former President as Chief of Truth, Mr. Alex retorted “it’s a lie, the Chief didn’t write anything. Bole Wura didn’t sign any letter. I stand by my words because Bole Wura is not in town. What obey has said is lies and if you’ve time I can go to the head of the traditional area so he speaks with you. Bole Wura did not give them any authority to enskin the former President as Chief of Truth”.
