The wife, who reports say is called Gifty, is a very private person, with no known social media presence.
Gifty has also kept away from the media spotlight for years now.
We understands that she is legally married to Gyan and has been in a relationship with him for over 16 years.
Gyan revealed in an interview in Accra recently that he preferred to keep his family affairs private.
The star footballer said he did not want his wife and children to be in the public eye.
Gyan also revealed that he had to apologise to his wife after a scandal in which a 22-year-old university student, Sarah kwablah, accused him of taking advantage of her. According to him, Gifty offered him her forgiveness.
