I was once a security guard at McDonalds London – Don Jazzy

He is widely regarded as one of the pillars of the music branch of Nigerian entertainment industry but long before he appeared on the scene. Micheal Collins Ajereh a.k.a Don Jazzy had moved to London earlier after his uncle’s invitation to come and drum at a church. He soon took up a job as a security guard at McDonald’s, the popular American fast food, while trying out as a songwriter and music producer.

Today, the man born Micheal Ajereh Collins remains arguably Nigeria’s most notable producer having produced songs for Wande Coal, D’prince, Tiwa Savage, D’banj, Dr Sid, Ikechukwu and many others.

Aside this, he is the boss at Supreme Mavin Dynasty and a brand ambassador for MTN. He also controls discussions regarding partnership, performing deals and overall careers of the Mavin 2.0 acts made up of Korede Bello, Reekado Banks and D’ija.
