Ghanaian actress and movie producer, Yvonne Nelson, has opened up about her unsuccessful attempts to meet with President Akufo-Addo at the Jubilee house.
According to her, she has a lot to discuss with the first gentleman of the land, but on a number of occasions, she is unable to do so. She went on to say that some people working closely with the president make it difficult to get access to him.
Speaking with Sammy Forson on Joy FM’s ‘Personality Profile’ on Thursday, June 14, 2018, she noted that there are urgent issues to discuss with him.
“I am a Ghanaian. I love the NDC and NPP. I have been trying to meet the president and I guess the people around him are making it difficult. Yes, I wanted to address him but I guess when the time is right I will meet him” she stated.
The actress added that she had ideas to help revive Ghana’s movie industry, and therefore seeks to interact with him. She was however optimistic that she will soon meet with president.
