“Boys ‘dey’ hung in this lockdown”; Cut the ‘big grammar’ and talk about gari and sugar issues- Irbard to Akufo-Addo

Security analyst and Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of Irbard Security Consult Alhaji Irbard Ibrahim has enjoined the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, not to deliver an elaborate flowery speech this night but rather concentrate on what he describes as “gari and sugar issues”.

Alhaji Irbard Ibrahim is of the opinion that the lockdown aimed at containing the novel coronavirus has brought with it hardship that has led to a general loss of appetite for ” Grammar”, advising the President’s speechwriters to focus on “gari and sugar issues”.

“The way boys dey hung in this lockdown, I don’t think anybody has an appetite for Grammar tonight. Speechwriters of His Excellency should let gari and sugar issues feature prominently in tonight’s address,” he argued on social media.

He, however, admitted that the President is a good orator who he admires: “His Excellency is one of the most eloquent leaders this nation has been blessed with. I like him.”
