I’m the Savior to redeem Ghana from bondage – John Mahama

John Dramani Mahama Sees Himself as a Redeemer for Ghana

Former President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, has expressed a belief that he is a savior sent by God to rescue the country and its citizens from the challenges they currently face. Mahama, who is currently on the Building Ghana Tour, aims to communicate his vision for improving the lives of Ghanaians through direct engagement with the public.

During a gathering as part of the tour, Mahama likened himself to the biblical savior, emphasizing that he sees his mission as one of redemption for Ghana. He asserted that, according to the Bible, a savior would be sent before the coming of Jesus Christ to redeem the people, and he believes he fulfills that role for Ghana alongside the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

“The Bible talks about the savior who will come to redeem us. But before the coming of Jesus Christ, a savior will be sent to come and redeem Ghana. That individual is John Mahama and the NDC,” Mahama declared to an enthusiastic crowd.

As he seeks a second term as President of Ghana, Mahama faces stiff competition from the New Patriotic Party (NPP), a political entity aspiring to break the eight-year cycle and make historical strides in Ghana’s political landscape. The upcoming election promises to be a significant event, with Mahama positioning himself as a transformative figure for the nation’s future. The narrative surrounding his candidacy adds a layer of complexity to the political discourse in Ghana, where citizens must decide the course they envision for their country.
