Bantama MP Reportedly Gives Delegates GHC 2,000 Each: The information available to us from Bantama Constituency in the Ashanti region indicates that the sitting NPP MP, Daniel Okyem Aboagye has been caught sharing money to delegates.
According to reliable reports received, the MP invited some delegates to his office and gave each of them GHC 2,000.
“At 11 pm Friday night, Okyem Aboagye went to Mary Donkor’s house together with Elizabeth Gyebi and gave each delegate GHc 2,000 and his campaign booklet,” an eyewitness said.
It continued that the two women refused his money but the MP still left the envelops there.
Further reports state that the women have sworn not to touch the money.
The incumbent MP is contesting with Deputy Chief of Staff, Francis Asenso-Boakye.
Who is Daniel Okyem Aboagye
Daniel Okyem Aboagye is a Ghanaian politician and member of the Seventh Parliament of the Fourth Republic of Ghana representing the Bantama Constituency in the Ashanti Region on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party.
Okyem Aboagye studied at the University of Ghana where he received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
He graduated in 2002 with an MBA and MIS in Accounting from Troy University, Alabama, USA.
Okyem Aboagye was certified in 2003 as a public accountant at the Certified Public Accountant of USA.
