PPP to merge with NDC to Wrestle Power from NPP in 2020 Elections – Nduom

The founder of Progressive People’s Party PPP and Founder of Group Nduom has revealed that, since the coming of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) back to power only serves as the genesis to his fall, he has then referred to the coming of Akufo Addo’s administration as his downfall thus as a mistake that he would never be repeated.

For some time now, Dr. Paa Kwesi has gone through a lot of renaming. He once was “Adwuma Wura”, then it became “Susu Wura”.

But as we speak, He is now “Eka Wura” because He has a lot of money to pay to his grieved GN Bank customers.

The latest information reaching NewsDesk indicates that Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom together with PPP has agreed to join hands with the largest opposition party in Ghana, the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

This particular initiative is to help wrestle power from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) who almost collapsed his business.

GN Savings illegally transferred $62 million of depositors’ Cash to a foreign firm – Bank of Ghana

An investigation by the Bank of Ghana has revealed that GN Savings and Loans moved a whopping $62 million of depositor’s funds to a foreign firm without documentation.

The company in question is the International Business Solutions, another company owned by Groupe Nduom which is based in the U.S.A, without any documentation to support such transfers in breach of section 19 of the Foreign Exchange Act 2006, Act 723, Section IV of Bank of Ghana.

“A recent Bank of Ghana investigation conducted at GN revealed that a significant amount (USD62,255,516.93, GBP718,528.59 and EUR4,200) of depositors’ funds held with GN had been transferred to International Business Solutions (another company owned by Groupe Nduom and which is based in the U.S.A) without any documentation to support such transfers in breach of section 19 of the Foreign Exchange Act 2006, Act 723, Section IV of Bank of Ghana Notice No. BG/GOV/SEC/2007/4, and subsequent Bank of Ghana Notices issued in August 2014 prohibiting such practice,” the BoG explained the rationale for the shut down of GN Bank.

The central bank in a statement further noted that GN is yet to publish its 2018 audited accounts contrary to section 90 (2) of the Banks and Specialised Deposit-Taking Institutions Act, 2016 (Act 930).

“Furthermore, the company did not keep accounting records in a manner that gives an accurate and reliable account of the transactions of the company, and did not, therefore, show a true and fair view of its operations,” the BoG said.

Akufo-Addo has become stubborn, he no longer listens to God – Prophet Owusu Bempah

Prophet Isaac Owusu Bempah has disclosed that he no longer has a close relationship with President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo because the president is no longer listening to God.

In an interview posted on the YouTube channel of RTV Ghana, the preacher is heard lamenting how Akufo-Addo’s countenance towards matters of God has dipped.

Asked whether he was mistaken to have backed the President spiritually in his days in opposition, Bempah insisted that he did what was told to him by God at the time.

He likened his current relationship with the president to that of Saul and Samuel in the Bible, positing that he was Samuel – a man simply directed by God to anoint His chosen one. While Akufo-Addo was Saul – the chosen one who disobeyed God and was visited with hard times.

“Samuel was asked to anoint Saul to become King, things did not go well, things went rough and that was because Saul became stubborn and was not listening to God and Samuel, so Samuel distanced himself from Saul.

“When Samuel tried to intervene at a point, God asked him to stay off because Saul had showed disobedience and so I see that the pure heart Akufo-Addo for which God chose him, has changed.

“He doesn’t listen to God anymore, and the prayers that clergymen used to say for him, he doesn’t allow it any longer. So, if you like him to Saul, it is the same thing, Samuel was only instructed by God to anoint Saul because he was God’s own choice,” Prophet Isaac Owusu Bempah stressed.

It’s a done deal for NDC in 2024 if you go back to IMF – Kennedy Agyapong to NPP

Firebrand and a Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong has gone haywire over the government’s decision to seek a bailout from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) warning of dire consequences for the party ahead of the 2024 general elections.

Without mincing words, the NPP financier explains after all the ‘noise’ he made against the Mahama government for lack of policy credit; the Akufo-Addo government is disappointing to him and many Ghanaians for following suit.

“It is just like handing over power to NDC without a contest, straight away because of the noise we made, and I chew my own words back when I said the NDC went to IMF because of mismanagement of the economy. So if NPP is going to IMF, what am I going to say?”, Ken Agyapong quizzed.

“So breaking the 8 is going to be tough, my message to you is simple, you cannot read my lips and I am not scared of anybody in the party, I will tell you the gospel truth, those who take you to IMF cannot break the 8,” he said this during a meeting with some NPP party members.

In a release issued on Friday, the Minister for Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah announced that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has directed Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta to commence official engagements with the International Monetary Fund for a financial bailout.
