Former Central Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Bernard Kojo Allotey Jacobs has spoken about his supposed resignation from the party.

In a press statement sighted by MyNewsGh.com, the man who prefers to be known as the Educated Fisherman, denied media reports suggesting that he has resigned from the party.

According to him, those stories are cooked up by some party members to tarnish his image considering his recent turf war with the National Communications Officer of the party, Sammy Gyamfi.

Part of the statement reads, “my commitment to the NDC is unquestionable despite my avowed aim to stand for what is truth and godly, as for the insults coming from the party I will swallow them in good faith knowing very well that I don’t eat crumbs from the table of men believing that The Lord is my Shepard He will never let me be wanting For all my years in politics God has been my solace and victory will always smile on me.”

The basis of the ‘fake’ news, MyNewsGh.com, understands is the comment he made Peace Fm Kokroko morning show hosted by Kwami Sefa Kayi, that Nana Akufo-Addo cannot be tagged corrupt contrary to his party’s position to hang corruption tag on the president.
