King George of YOLO Series given a scholarship to study in United Kingdom

Yolo actor King George known in real life as Desmond Danso Sakyi has been given scholarship by Chevening to study at University for the Creative Arts in United Kingdom.

 

George has actually left Ghana to UK already.

Announcing the good news on Instagram, King George wrote:

 

“I am extremely blessed to be awarded the most prestigious scholarship in the world (@cheveningfco)! I now join the coveted league of Chevening scholars to study for an M.A in Global Media Management at the Business School for Creative Industries in @UniCreativeArts !

I dedicate this honor to anyone who has ever believed in me and everyone who was involved in this cumbersome but highly rewarding process! Especially my mother -who discovered early, my love to create! My bosses! My family and friends who have literally taken every step of this journey with me thus far – and to all of Ghana!

The mission to create a sustainable ecosystem to discover, nurture and commercialize high level Ghanaian creativity has just begun!

Just recently George was by himself giving out scholarship to poor but needy student.

The Chevening Scholarship is an international scholarship scheme which enables students with leadership qualities from over 160 countries and territories to undertake postgraduate study or courses in universities in the United Kingdom.
