Let's all unite and rally behind Bawumia

In a heartfelt message to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) members, Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has apologized to his supporters for any misunderstandings caused by his recent campaign tour with Dr. Bawumia. He clarified that he remains committed to the NPP and urged all party faithful to unite and support the party’s future endeavors.

“I understand that my actions did not sit well with some of you, and I sincerely apologize for not informing you before embarking on the campaign tour,” he stated. “However, I want to assure everyone that I have not resigned from the party, nor am I going independent. I am still a dedicated member of the NPP.”

Addressing the recent presidential primaries, he emphasized the importance of party unity regardless of the outcome. “As long as I am a member of the party, irrespective of what happened in the presidential primaries, I believe it is best for all of us to come together and rally support behind the party,” he tweeted.

In a call for reconciliation, he urged his supporters to use the occasion of his birthday as an opportunity to mend any rifts within the party. “I also appeal to the supporters of the Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, to reciprocate the same goodwill I am extending on behalf of my supporters. I plead with both sides to unite and rally behind Dr. Bawumia and the NPP,” he added.
