Kennedy Agyapong dragged to court for defamation


Kennedy Agyapong dragged to court for defamation; Joseph Yammin, a top member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has sued Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, a stalwart in the New Patriotic Party and his company Ken City Media Limited.

The NDC kingpin insists that Mr. Agyapong, the Member of Parliament for Assin Central Constituency in the Central region, has defamed him in public by labeling him (Yammin) as a ‘killer’.

Mr. Yammin, a former Deputy Sports Minister, has, therefore, dragged Mr. Agyapong to court, to file charges against him in order to clear his name.

Founder and Leader of Anointed Palace Chapel, Rev. Obofour real name Rev Kwaku Agyei Antwi has replied law-maker Kennedy Agyapong over his threats on Net 2 TV that he shall be exposing fake prophets.

So far, Agyapong is dealing seriously with Bishop Obinim to the extent that he has caused his arrest by the Ghana Police.

Well, Rev.Obofour in a new video says Ken Agyapong shouldn’t try that rubbish on him or else he’ll deal with him in a way he wouldn’t ever forget.

Obofour said as a ‘matter-of-factly’ that he’ll deal with Ken physically and spiritually so if he (Ken) thinks he’s strong, he should just dare him and he’ll see where the power lies.

Did Stonebwoy complete University?

Did Stonebwoy complete University: Stonebwoy born Livingstone Etse Satekla, a Ghanaian Afropop singer, and an actor.

The acting part of his life became real when he featured in Happy Death Day and My name is Ramadan movies. This is no surprise as Stonebwoy himself has confirmed that he started writing scripts and lyrics as early as when was in primary class 4.

Stonebwoy was nominated and won the Best International Act: Africa category at the 2015 BET Awards and won Artist of the Year in the same year in Ghana Music Awards, 2015.

He has millions of followers on social media and he’s been hailed as the dancehall king of Africa, a title Shatta Wale his arch-rival also makes a fierce claim of.

Mr. Satekla is married to Dr. Louisa Ansong and they both have two children.

Stonebwoy was born in Ashaiman, a suburb of the Greater Accra region.  He had his senior high school education at Methodist Day Senior High School with Sarkodie another Ghanaian Musician as his classmate. He then furthered his education at the University of Professional Studies in Accra where he obtained a degree in Marking in 2013.

Stonebwoy has four albums to his credit; Grade 1 Album, Necessary Evil, Epistles of Mama, and the fourth studio album which featured several international artists like Keri Hilson.

Veteran Actor, “Waakye” Ordained As A Reverend Minister: Veteran actor Prince Yawson, popularly known as Waakye, was officially ordained as a reverend minister last Sunday, 25th April 2021.

Waakye received his ordination at the Word Impact Centre in Accra as a full-time Reverend Minister amidst a grand ceremony with his family and colleagues from the movie industry present.

In 2018, he revealed in an interview with Accra FM that he was a Bible student on his way to make ministry his full-time job. He also said that this new chapter closes his past acting career permanently as he becomes a man Of God.

Speaking in an interview on Onua TV’s Maakye on Monday, his first-ever interview after he was ordained, Waakye said: “I had the call almost 40 years now but I was recalcitrant when I heard the voice of God”.

He added that “That is why I was roving so I asked myself why God called me because we have so many righteous people in the country”.

Waakye explained that “The call came again when I was writing at the beach. I saw this man with children. He passed by me but came back and said why are you being recalcitrant? I asked him and the man said why has God been calling you but you do not want to do the job?”

Rev Yawson said “The man I had never seen warned me to do the job else I will suffer. I did not know him. If I knew him, I would have mentioned his name. He told me to start a small church but in no time, I suffered a cardiac arrest”.

The veteran Ghanaian actor was on Sunday, April 25 ordained as a Rev Minister at the Word Impact Center in Accra.

The ordination was attended by his friends, family, and some media personnel.
