Otumfuo challenges Mahama; Tell Ghanaians what you intend to do right

Otumfuo challenges Mahama: The overlord of the Ashanti Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has advised the leadership of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to be truthful with Ghanaians as they seek power for the second time.

The former President of Ghana and the flagbearer of the NDC together with Executive of the party were in the Ashanti Kingdom to introduce the Vice Presidential Candidate, Prof. Naana Jane Opku-Agyemang to the Ashanti King.

Speaking at the short event, the much revered King advised the NDC to be bold in admitting their mistakes while in power and let the people know that they flawed in some decisions they took in power and also be truthful in their campaign.

He said tell “Ghanaians your mistakes” and also be “truthful to them when you are campaigning”.

The King noted that Ghanaians voted against him in 2016 because of “hunger and anger” and therefore he should make Ghanaians aware of the fact that the mistakes in 2016 will not be repeated.

Otumfuo Osei Tutu II indicated that it’s imperative that the former President sells his message and create awareness of what he’s done and intends to do when he is given the mandate by the people of Ghana.

On his running mate, Otumfour Osei Tutu welcomed her to the family but advised her to stick to an issues-based electioneering campaign wherever she goes to sell their message in order to make the people aware of they are bringing on board.
