Mahama’s Accra Reset report focuses on global health sovereignty

President John Dramani Mahama has launched A Sovereign Future for Health as part of the Accra Reset initiative at the 81st United Nations General Assembly. The report contains ten recommendations aimed at strengthening health systems in the Global South and reducing dependence on external funding. Mahama said Ghana wants the initiative to move from policy design towards practical implementation, including local manufacturing, research, regulation and distribution.
