Phyna and Nkechi Blessing set for October 1 celebrity boxing bout

Nigerian reality TV star Josephina Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, will face actress Nkechi Blessing in a celebrity boxing contest scheduled for October 1, 2026, in Lagos.

The bout, tagged “Phyna vs Nkechi”, will take place at the Federal Palace Hotel as part of the “Chaos in the Ring” series organised by Balmoral Group Promotions.

TVC News reports that the event will be broadcast live on DAZN and SuperSport. Promotional material has shown both entertainers in boxing gear as preparations continue.

The organisers have yet to announce the full undercard and ticketing arrangements.
