Trump defends Iran policy in UN address as diplomacy remains in focus

President Donald Trump used his address to the United Nations General Assembly to defend US policy towards Iran while saying that a settlement could still be reached. Associated Press and Reuters reported that Trump warned of further military action if an agreement was not reached, while later indicating that talks were continuing. Iranian representatives also left the General Assembly during parts of Trump’s remarks, according to reports.
