GNPC supplies 950,000 barrels of Sankofa crude to Tema Oil Refinery

The Ghana National Petroleum Corporation has supplied approximately 950,000 barrels of Sankofa crude oil to the Tema Oil Refinery under a commercial arrangement between the two state institutions.

GNPC said the transaction strengthens the connection between Ghana’s upstream petroleum production and domestic refining while creating a dependable local market for crude.

TOR said the light, sweet crude provides suitable feedstock as the refinery rebuilds operating capacity, with discussions also underway on possible natural-gas supply.
