Afenyo-Markin hands Ghana’s ECOWAS Parliament leadership to Ricketts-Hagan

Alexander Afenyo-Markin has handed over Ghana’s leadership of the ECOWAS Parliament to Kofi Adams Ricketts-Hagan, according to reports from Ghana’s Parliament and national media.

The change comes as lawmakers continue discussions on the future structure and representation of the regional legislature, including proposals concerning how members are selected.

The development was among Ghana’s latest parliamentary and regional integration stories ahead of the next sitting of the ECOWAS Parliament.
