Finance Minister urges businesses to invest as government prepares 2027 Budget

Finance Minister Dr Cassiel Ato Forson has urged businesses to invest with confidence, saying the government intends to consolidate recent gains in economic stability.

Addressing the Association of Ghana Industries and other business leaders, he said the 2027 Budget would set out a new blueprint aimed at moving Ghana from stability towards economic transformation.

Forson also called for stronger domestic revenue mobilisation to reduce reliance on excessive borrowing and support investment, exports and job creation.
