100 children below 15 years infected with COVID-19 in Ghana – Ghana Health Service

The Ghana Health Service has indicated that a total of 100 children (boys and girls) under the age of 15 years have been infected with COVID-19 in Ghana.

The statistics imply that at least one out of six cases reported on Tuesday, April 14, 2020, of the 636 are children

The number of COVID-19 cases recorded about infected children has busted the myth of the disease being only susceptible to the aged and those with underlying health conditions.

Men in the age group of 35-44 years old were the highest while their female counterparts registered the lowest number of infections.
