Former Deputy Communication Minister Felix Kwakye Ofosu is asking President Akufo-Addo to name the projects he has done for which he needs a second term to complete, MyNewsGh.com has filed.
On Tuesday, President Akufo-Addo appealed to the Ghanaian electorate to give him four more years in office to complete all the work he has started in his first term in office.
Speaking to the Chief and people of the Weija/Gbawe Constituency at a ceremony to cut the sod for the construction of a science-based Senior High School at the Weija Treatment Plant area, President Akufo-Addo said he has laid a strong foundation for the development of Ghana and his request for four more years in office will help build an even more prosperous Ghana.
“Nii, it will be difficult for me, you know I am a politician, to come here with an election around the corner and not say something about the election. We are looking for Tina to come back to the house with an even stronger mandate and she should come back with her mandate and a mandate for Nana, four (4) more for Nana, so we can continue the foundation that we are laying for Ghana. It is important that all the strong work that has gone on to reconstruct our economy, laying the foundation for Agriculture and for industry and our education and health system, we should be able to continue for the benefit of the Ghanaian people” President Akufo Addo said.
Reacting to the president’s appeal to the electorate, the NDC communication team member wrote: “If I may inquire, which specific projects is President Akufo-Addo demanding a second term to complete?”
